Theres so many things you can see and do there.

Here is a list of some of the things to do in just Manhattan.

Times Square/Theater District-You definetly dont want to miss this, even if it is just walking through.

Rockafeller Center-Especially at Christmas Time, but its a great place just to walk through any time of the year. While your there you can take the NBC studio tour or go up to the Top of the Rock observation Deck.

Empire State Building-This one pretty much explains itself

Chinatown-Go there for shopping, and for some delicious and some relativlely inexpensive food.

Ground Zero

Central Park-Its so big, with surprises and different things around every bend in the road and walkway.

South Street Seaport-Go there for the tall ships, restaurants, and pedistraian mall. Dont miss Pier 17, even just to walk around.

The United Nations, go on the tour, you wont regret it.

Walk on the Brooklyn Bridge, a must do.

Harlem-even though I wouldnt go there at night, but thats just me

Museum Mile-a bunch of museums all within a mile of one another

Lincoln Center-if you want to a show over Broadway.

The Dakota Apartments-You can only look at them, but in front of them is where John Lennon was shot, and across the street from them in Central Park is Strawberry Fields, the memorial to him.

Little Italy-Just like Chinatown

Ellis Island/Statue of Liberty-Take the ferry from Battery Park. There is nothing to do on Liberty Island (where Lady Liberty is), unless you get there nice and early and is able to get a ticket to the base of the statue. Ellis Island is a huge museum about Immigration. Its a nice place to learn about the history of the immigrants, and if you want to get away from the chaos for a few hours.

Start at Greenwich Village. From there go to Bleecker Street, south, Eigth Street, north, St. Marks Place, East, and Jane Street West.
