Vista does not come with a PDF reader. However if you want one you should Foxit Reader:

It's smaller and faster than Adobe Reader, and free.

.pdf readers and writers are third party software. Microsoft do not have a license to use .pdf files. Therefore you have no choice other than to download a reader. Adobe is the maker of "Acrobat" and you can always get the latest release of "Acrobat Reader" for free from Adobe's web site. However, if you want to edit / create .pdf files, you can do this with "Open Office" (a free Open Source Office Application pack). alternatively, see if you can get a good deal on Serif Page Plus (DTP software). You should be able to get Page Plus for around £20 ($40) direct from Serif, which is £100s ($100s) cheaper than buying Adobe software.

to open a pdf file you'll need to have adobe acrobat reader..it doesn't matter if you have windows vista or xp..

Dear

I don't think Adobe Acrobat comes with the Windows VIsta, So please install through any CD, because most of PC CD comes with ADOBE ACROBAT means MAINBOARD CD.
