YEEEEEEEE-HAW
REDNECK
RED-WHITE-AND-BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
When the origin of NASCAR began it was on "dirt back country roads" where moonshiners would race each other to see who could get their product to the customer.
The average folks watched these people do this until someone had the sense to put these people on an oval! They could charge money for people to watch. So in stepped Mr France and as they say the rest is history.
From "ROAD RACING"
to "CULTURED" ovals.
And as for your "real racing, that started in the days of the Romans and Greeks racing chariots,on OVALS in the coliseums.
So if your a Roman and race a chariot sorry but if not then redefine "real" racing.
As for the redneck comment I earned this moniker during Viet Nam.So you stick your thoughts in a pipe and smoke them.
NASCAR fan since 1960 and still going.
Any resemblance to WWE is in the head of the writer.

Hey dude...why are you such a freaking jerk when you ask questions? You want some honest, no-$hit answers? Then think about actually asking a question rather than making a cold-hearted statement.
Wasn't it you that was whining about not being able to get a straight-forward response from persons that are to the right of center? Well, now I know why.
I'm one of those toothless fools and my friends are noodle heads. Guess what...? I don't even watch NASCAR. However, I know that my friends that do are 100 times more genuine than you'll ever be, right turns included.
Why don't you try smiling every now and then? Be prepared, though, you might actually experience happiness...OMG!

Yes, open wheel is so much better. Nothing better than watching a good game of follow-the-leader, no passing racing like in the IRL. Why would a former Indy 500 Champ like Juan Pablo Montoya want to drive in NASCAR? Oh yeah, must be the money and he likes to have people in the stands watching the races. This is America and we would rather watch "toothless fools" than a series than a bunch of foreigners play follow the leader with cars that a strong breeze will damage. Watch Watkins Glen this weekend for right turns, then lets see the IRL cars do all that bumping and banging. LOL, IRL had 20 cars in the race, YAWN. Everyone was guaranteed a top 20 finish. Best comparison, which has higher TV ratings, the Indy 500 or the Coca Cola 600? And F1? even more boring, and I refuse to get up at 5 am on Sunday morning to watch follow the leader.

"NASCAR's weekly race ratings now regularly more than double those of CART and the IRL."
You've just been owned buddy, nascar owns you. Much more competitive and exciting. Hey ********, redknecks make up a small fraction of NASCAR"s fans. Its broadcast in 75 countries world-wide, redknecks don't typically watch NASCAR, its just an incorrect sterotype.

Man you guys complain about Nascar because you say all they do is make left turns, and now that we are going to a road course where the drivers will be making right turns too, you all complain! What is your problem???? Nascar is a great sport, if you don't like it you have the right to not watch it. Its so simple!!!!!!!
Oh and btw i have all my teeth!!!!

If a fly hits an open wheel car (IRL, F1), they have to pull into the pits and replace half the body. It's a joke. At least NASCAR has real racing, even though the France family is slowly ruining it.

NASCAR has been racing on road courses for years, not much new there. It is defiantly different and interesting. If you think that road courses are boring, you must have missed the Busch race on Saturday.

I'll be there this weekend watching them try. You would think any good driver could turn either way. Unfortunately, the teams have troubles building cars to do that.
Go, Smoke!
Are they almost all really Democrats? (left,l;eft, left and left again)

hell yes papabill is 100% right...... racing is racing in my opinion..... i prefer nascar..... some prefer open-wheels, and others like cycles...... racing is racing, and you shouldn't put down another form of it just because yours has been over shadowed...... go get a beer, smoke a cigarette, and grilll some brats with sauerkraut...... you'll feel better
