Fear of the Lord is to be construed as "reverence" of the Lord, NOT terror of the lord as some may interpret it to mean.

fear of the lord is being afraid of a guy in a white rode with a white beard who will case people to hell if they do not blindly follow his ideas as they are passed on to everyone through religious leaders

Of course there is no actually proof that this lord or god exists

the bible tells us not to fear someone who can take our life:but to fear god who can destroy both our body and soul. Makes sense doesn't it. One the first can only kill you: while disobedience to god in sin can cause you to lose your human life and the heavan also.
