Pretty much everything has been tried, and none of these things have any effect whatsoever. The problem is that MS is what is called a relapsing and remitting condition. It suddenly gets better on its own, but then recurs. Because of this tendancy it has always been the alternative therapists dream. If you give anything to a group of patients with MS, some get better. ( and would have got better with nothing). This then enables someone to make wild cure claims.

My daughter takes herbs and vitamins but not sure which.I answered similar question the other day but forgot to get back to them about the names,I will talk to my daughter and find out more and get back to you on this.
I have just spoken to my daughter and she told me that the main vitamins to take are vitamin B12 and D.She basically takes all vitamins going also folic acid.
She also recommends a book written by Dr Swank called "The Swank Low-Fat Diet for the Treatment of MS"
Hope this helps you.

Hello,
I have had Ms for many years. In the early years i tried several herbs and vitamins.Grape seed oil and B12 and others.I finally decided the best course was to simply eat a good balanced diet, get plenty of exercise, drink lots of water and in general live a healthy lifestyle.
I have found for myself, that chiropractic adjustments helps me LOTS with the symptoms. And I take Betaseron.I haven't had a major attack in almost 7 years.(just minor tingling in my left hand ).
You must be newly diagnosed?Just remember, there are far worse diseases than MS.If you need any encouragement feel free to email me .

MS is often a misdiagnosis, the true causes can be infection related-thats why symptoms come and go and most doctors dont understand the condition- The sites below should enlighten you a bit more on diagnosis and treatment options.
