No, our prayers do not heal. Prayers are not magic and we ought not to try and manipulate God.
Praying is communications with God and it performs a vital part of establishing our relationship with Him. God sees us all as in need of healing, not just the physically ill.

Healing and Exorcism are not peculiar of the Christian faith.
The fact is - there are spiritual beings with powers that can do these things.
I come from a Buddhist country and there are a lot of such demonstrations of powers.
However, as a Christian, I also understand that there is only one true God and all other powers are demonic, even though the outcome is good (in your question - healing and exorcism)
Why are the rest demonic? Because the sole purpose of demons is to draw you away from worshipping the true God. And one of their demonic ways to do allow strong demonstations of power of healing and exorcism to deceive the unwary.
And yes, I do believe that God can heal the sick when we pray for them.

I don't beleieve healing is for this day since we live by faith not by sight. Jesus said that evil and adulterous people seek for signs, and no sign will be given. Healing is connected more in the Bible with restoration from sin than with just healing. (See James 5)
There is really no such a thing as a healing meeting in the Bible. Even Jesus went about preaching the Gospel, and healed those who came to Him, but nowhere did He conduct a "healing meeting".

Praying (doing nothing) has never cured anyone!! Do you know what cures people? Modern medicine, well educated doctors and nurses..... An imaginary man in the sky has never cured anybody..... It makes me sick to think how many of "your" people have died, because all you did was pray..... It's so sad.

I think prayer can heal sick people.
My girlfriend has been involved in an exorcism in Jamaica. It sounds like the freakiest thing in the world.

Yes, studies have shown that prayer really does help, but so does positive thinking. So it is your belief that helps, not the religion.
I don't think people should practice exorcism, because it can cause more harm than good.
