I have been invited to several (hindu) weddings where on the invitation card it says "No Gift Box Please" I am totally confused as to what that means. Should I NOT give the bride and groom any gift, should i give them money in an envelope or should i only gift them stuff that's not contained in a gift box!!??!! Please help

Pretty much means just money only for gifts.

Not really sure, but if that is their way of asking for cash gifts that is pretty rude.
