I think they are the best songs ever written because they all have a different meaning and in most of his songs his poetry is good.
My favourite songs of his are: the first cut is the deepest, wil world, father and son, ruins and I wish, i wish.

I like them. His recent album "Another Cup", using the name Yusuf (Islam) is also worth listening to. It's all good music for when you're in a mellow mood and tired of all the hustle and bustle in life.

When we were first going out, my then bf (now husband) told me that he composed a song for me...
.. he sang it to me and I thought it was wonderful!!
THEN I HEARD IT ON THE RADIO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was Cat Stevens singing 'I Love My Dog' !!!
Boy was he in trouble!!!
I still goad him about it and he pees himself laughing every time!!

Not much, because they are very repetitive, which tends to drive a person up the wall. I don't like Yusef Islams songs either.
