I would not worry much about time of day, unless you are planning black for morning, that would not work. I think you should base your colors more on the time of year, specifically season. Or put together your and your fiance's favorite colors.

white and yellow(like the rising sun) or white a orange. but really focus on your colors. colors that you injoy or that play apart in your season. fall orange and yellow are great, spring is a time for the blues and pastels, winter you could go all white wedding, etc. But make sure you pick a basic color nothing like topaz. Simple colors like red or blue will make shopping a matching a little easier because all companies will use those colors.

I would go with a light yellow or blue. If it is a fall wedding I would maybe go with an interesting looking pink to compliment the colors of the sky during sunrise!

Pale yellow, orange, blue or pink.

A yellow, silver, white combination would be beautiful for a morning wedding no matter what the season. Maybe add pale orange in autumn/fall.

I had a afternoon wedding and chose aqua, white and silver as my theme colours. then added pink roses in bouquets as last touch (couldn't get right flowers at last minute)

I agree you should steer clear of dark or bold "evening " colors. Dark blues, purples, forest greens, burgundies, etc would be too heavy for a morning event.

How about light orange, buttery yellow and a soft blue with metallic gold accents.
Really any combo of buttery yellow, light orange, soft blue, coral, light pink and metallic gold would beautiful in the morning, reminiscent of a summer sunrise.

Good luck and best wishes.

Sky blue is good, also put yellow, its like sunshine... have "morning glory" flowers around. Morning glory flowers come in many colors. Do a search on them and click on "images"
