my chihuahua does that when she gets excited, like if youre throwing toys around for her and shes running a lot, or she sees someone she hasnt seen in a while she gets excited and starts to make a choking noise, i dont know why they do it, but i think it has something to do with them being small or something, im not sure, but every chihuahua i have ever seen does it

Many small dogs are subject to collapsed tracheas, the result of being pulled or yanked by a leash. Many dogs in general do something called "reverse sneezing," a generally harmless breathing disorder. Check with your vet to get a definitive diagnosis.

Fiction. A dog could make you happier but it is not a alternative for medication. This form of dog and any other terrier forms are just right for individuals with extreme allergy symptoms and asthma but can't therapy it.

It is called reverse sneezing and it is not a risk to itsa health. It is just something chihuahuas do. Talk calmly to your chi when this happens and very gently stroke the throat downwards. It helps.

you should go and check with a vetirinarian. i think your dog must have been eating when it breathed and the food must have got breathed in into the throat. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!
