The garments are a reminder of a covenant, a promise that has been made.
Do you still intend to live that promise? If so, then wear them.
But remember: being a follower of Christ has less to do with what underwear you put on in the morning and more to do with actions as evidences of your faith. We all fall short of the glory of God and all sin. It's repentance and faith through action that define you as a follower of Christ.
If you choose not to live as Christ directs rather than failing after your best efforts, only then you have no business wearing holy temple garments.

as long as you are living according to the promises you made in the temple, yes, you should wear them. Now, if you have done something that you KNOW you shouldn't have done such as adultry or denied the Holy Spirit, I believe you should still wear them. Only YOU know whether or not you have kept those promises you made and are actually worthy.

I would say yes...but probably the best thing to do would be to talk to your bishop.
Maybe even ask yourself these questions:
Why don't I have a recommend?
What is stopping me from getting a current recommend?
Do I believe the garments are sacred?
Do I do anything against the criteria for a recommend?
Pray about it. Ask your Heavenly Father for guidance...He will help whenever He is asked. Remember, Satan is the one who plants doubts, fear and confusion about the gospel in our minds...not our Heavenly Father.
Good luck to you.

Yes you should unless you have been banned from wearing them. You should seek to bring your self to go back to the temple and receve the blessings there of, but if you cant at the moment, thats ok. You still should receve the blessings of wearing them

If you go to a church that tells you what kind of underwear to wear, you are a nut.

You should have a chat with your bishop if you're unsure about this kind of thing. The worst that can happen is you have a nice chat.

I believe that you should wear them. You will have to have a current recommend to purchase new ones.

Your 'salvation' should have nothing to do with what kind of underpants you wear, don't you think?. If your church requires it, then it also requires 'magcal thinking' - and of course, it does.
Time to move and and grow up on the inside. You don't need to be continually bombarded with questions of 'how worthy are you', or living up to an impossible standard the church sets.

Unless you live in Vermont, or some parts of Canada, you'd better. Only in those places is public nudity really accepted in this continent.
