To get some thing abnormal. Some type of selfish drive we are going towards god.
When you expect nothing what is the need of god.
A good ethist is a good beliver of god

What a great lie from the Devil. Do good and you will get all? How do you explain a baby who did not do anything and in the end they are raped or molested? How do you explain a couple who or family who are good people and one day someone comes and robs them in their house and one or more of them gets killed? You want to recieve all, love God with all your heart, trust in the Lord and He will protect you. You can do good as much as you want but that is not going to prevent bad things from happening to you. I'm sorry to burst your Bubble but life is not a little fairy tale. Put God first in your life and everything will fall into place. I'm not saying bad things will not happen to you, merely that God will be there to pick up the pieces when broken and the reward is greater for the suffering endured on earth because of the Lord. A good god if one exists would judge people based on how they lived their lives, not what their believed without evidence.

OTOH a god who does crap like send only those who worship it to heaven can't be trusted.

There probably isn't a god but if there were it should make no difference to how we behave on Earth. We don't need punishments to be good.
