Humming bird are the only bird species that can fly in all directions. They are very small though in size, but they have got powerful wings. They can flap their wings so fast like a bee (tho I can't remember how many times in a minute) and they can fly upwards, downwards, side wards and backwards. They can even hover in the air without moving left or right. They usually drink nectars from the flowers and they do this while flying.
