I know that parrots can,and Lyrebirds,but it seems as though Whooping cranes can as well,and even birds at my feeder hop backwards,so I really don't know for sure!

I think many birds can walk backwards. If you're thinking about flying backwards, it's the hummingbird.

Actually, hummingbirds can't walk. Their feet and legs are so short to reduce weight, all they can do is fly and perch on things. That is why a hummingbird with a broken wing is doomed to die.
