It was not to many years ago that people grew there own vegetables. That was mostly all they ate. They also raised there own meat. Cow/Pig. They also hunted for dear and rabbits. There were fewer people then with weight problems because they worked it off running a farm. Now people go to the grocery store and get what they need and cook it with all it's pesticides inside the veggie. The meat has god knows what in it to make it grow faster so they can get it to slaughter quicker. I think that is why there are so many sick people now and obese. Only god knows what we are eating.

It is possible as long as you get all the nutrients that your body needs. Be carefull of this and research it to make sure you have a proper diet. Most people get their iron from red meat, without htis a suitable replacement must be found. It is easier just to make a simple diet that involves the correct amount of daily servings as recommended by the FDA

Life has provided us with so much variety. Why do you want to limit yourself to one thing and get bored. Enjoy life fully and everything in moderation. If you wanna eat plant based, eat fruits, nuts, veggies, seeds, legumes, pulses, whole grain cereals, starchy vegetables like sweet potatoes and remember that certain nutrients are not found in plants like Vitamin B12 for e.g., so remember to eat foods that are fortified with it but still plant based. For instance whole grain cereals with B12
