Take her to the vet. There is a chance it could be fatal.

I went out of town for work once and left my pitbull and my golden retriever with my dad. When I returned home a few weeks later, the pitbull was sitting in a pile of heartworm medication wrappers. He had climbed up onto the counter where dad had put the boxes, pulled his and the golden retrievers boxes of heartworm meds down, opened the boxes, opened all the foil wrappers that I can never get open, and eatten all the heartworm pills. That was either 8 or 10 heartworm pills and the golden retrievers were for a larger dog than the pitbull.

My pitbull was fine. He went on to destroy many shoes, rugs, electrical cords, car floor matts, etc. in his future. Your dog will be fine.

Alert your vet and they can let you know what signs to watch for if any problems would arise.

Most of the popular name brand products have had at least some testing done. Often times animals can be given double or triple the recommened dose and still be ok. It's not ideal, but just try marking it on your calendar - one mark for the day it's due, and a small check mark when you actually give it.

This happened to me too the only difference was my dog got two the same day, our other dog spit his out and he grabbed it and ate it before we could stop him. I called the vet right away and they told me it was not a big deal and don't worry. The vet said if it were 10 or more it would be a problem.

No,it won't do anything to her.If you read the package insert,it says: If you are not sure your dog swallowed the pill,or if it spit part of it out, administer the full dosage again. My vet has also told me this. She will be fine, believe me.

Yes, she'll be okay, and like others already said, mark it on the calendar each month, so it won't happen again!
