i have 10 surround sound speakers im using 5 already what to do with the other 5

I don't know what to do with the extra 5 speakers. If they came with the unit, there should be instruction on what to do.

I did want to correct what Robert P said -- you CANNOT simply connect them in series. This will change the impedance seen by the amplifier, which could damage the unit.

I beg to differ. Connecting in series will raise the impedance and simply lower the output but will not do any damage. However, connecting in parallel WILL damage the amp since it lowers the impedance and draws more current from the amp possibly damaging the output transistors.

need more info did your system come packaged with ten speakers or are they just others that you already had because in that case you should just store the other five.

If you want to use them you could always wire them in series,but there would be a decrease in sound level.
