vedas described that "jaise pati apni patni ke sare apradh maaf kar deta hai , usi tareh se, Lord Indra hamare sare paap maaf kar do" means husband should forgive all the untruth ,unfaithfull acts of wife.

but here what the Truth says .if you take the same in the Kaliyug ,then it is heighly possible that your wife would become so selfish ie would be in Moh with others that one day you will be in danger and hence your family. so how forgiveness is better. so truth is that your family would be in danger .

what should be done religeously.

if you are in favour of forgiveness than do not you think so that it is your weakness that you could not take right action to eliminate rebuild the faith ,Truth

Forgiveness is Good Enough in This Kaliyug...
If the Sin of a wife is not too big enough which will disturb their martial life in a society where they married before the relatives and friends... then A Husband must Forgive Her...
Not only Forgiveness is enough but The husband duty is to make his wife truthful and He must success in his attitude.
If he wifes duty is only to Hurt her husband that means She never likes him and It is not good to continue more than a tolerable time.. [I may say one year is enough...].
Even it is not good to Judge Himself the Trait of his wife because We are not in an age where Vedas described about the powers and decisions of a husband ... i.e. KALIYUG...
He must Take Shelter of his Elders and courts and better to have a Divorce .....
One Doubt
What will Happen If A Husband Brokes His Wife's faith..

It is always better to forgive, if you want to be forgiven...

Forgiveness is a difficult task for anyone to do, yet it is an act of selflessness that allows the other person to right what has been wronged.

Should that forgiven person continue to do the same wrongful act, then it is their karma to atone for it.

And if you choose not to forgive, then you are likewise laden with selfishness. Agreed?

Peace be with you.

If the husband's faith was broken, that's his fault. His faith must not have been very strong. He is responsible for his OWN actions.

it all depends on situation to situation. if somebody is committing mistake by ignorance, they deserve mercy. they can be educated not to commit such mistake in future. there may be people committing mistake in vengeance, that is unpardonable. now you chose which one you are referring to!

You should forgive your wife, but forgiveness doesn't mean that you have to put up with untruths and unfaithfulness.
