God(ess) answers ALL prayers. Sometimes the answer is NOT the answer that we had hoped for, NO is an answer too. Deity has much deeper and more complete knowledge of the situation that is being prayed for and about, and may have some OTHER intention than the one that YOU desire. BUT, if the answer is "No" then God(ess) gives you the strength to cope with that answer. Whether it is giving you the strength directly, or bringing someone or somethng into your life that will support you through you hard period. The Christian concept of "When god closes a door, he opens another" is a very good analogy. Perhaps the "No" answer is making it possible for you to pursue some other adventure. One that, after a while, you may find a lot more fulfilling and acceptable than the one that you are praying about. (((((Rae)))))

Prayers are to be directed to Jehovah God. (Matthew 6:9-13; Philippians 4:6; Psalm 5:1, 2) Prayers are to be offered in Jesus' name; He is the only mediator. (John 16:23, 24; 1 Timothy 2:5) Those whose prayers Jehovah hears. (Acts 10:34, 35; 1 Peter 3:12; 1 John 3:22) Jehovah does not listen to prayers of those practicing wickedness. (Proverbs 15:29; Prov. 28:9; Isaiah 1:15; Micah 3:4) Please look up the cited Scriptures, thank you.

If you believe that God is within you, and not separate from you then he would hear everything you say and think, not only your prayers. If you are very focused in your prayers, God, or your sub concious mind will go to work on your issues and provide a solution.

Yes he hears every word we speak. Why else would he say we must give an account of every idle word we spoke. God is not the author of lies, disease, poverty, sin although he allows certain things into our life to enhance who we are wether we are trying to serve him in love or if not. Remember if someone believes in God they realize this is a fallen world and is subject to the laws that govern it. Until Christ reigns this world is only being rented by an evil tenant who has no power. Believe as a child.

I believe that Jehovah (his real name) is the listener but he will only really respond if you persistantly call on him for a deed. Just like when a child asks for a toy, if the child really wants the toy they will persistantly ask for it daily. If they don't want it that bad, they will forget about the toy and move on to something else. Jehovah God, I feel, is the same way.

Only those who have peace with Him. That eliminates those who do not have peace with Him.
Yes, it's true that those who trust God is heard by Him. I find that Psalms is great for analogizing whatever we are going through.
Such as this:
Psalm 84
5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you,
who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.
6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca (weeping) ,
they make it a place of springs;
the autumn rains also cover it with pools.
7 They go from strength to strength,
till each appears before God in Zion.
And our lives are supposed to reflect this. We go from strength to strength, and we WILL go through valleys of weeping, but blessed men will get through.

yes. God listens to us more intently than we say. I have prayed to Him and fretted with problems, but in a period of time, I have got what I asked for. I use to think it is co-incidence but now I know it is God. whatever Jesus has told in bible is true. Jesus showed God's love on the cross by shedding His blood which can wash our sins. I felt so light when I cried for my sins to be washed away.
Please read how God guided me,

Yes, my dear. It is true! The Bible, which I believe to be God's directions manual for my life, states that God will not only supply all that we need, or what we pray for, but He will also give us the desires of our hearts. God is awesome! He has done these things for me and I know He is for real!

yes...i keep praying and trusting in God and it's worked, in the sense that things that didn't have much of a chance of working did work out...i'm thankful.
and it's not just me...your "you" threw me off a little.
and i think He answers prayers that are necessary...and things happen for a reason...He has another plan for you if it doesn't work to your advantage.
