Do you christians actually believe that the only thing you have to do as christians is to ''accept jesus christ as your saviour'' ?!! Do you really believe that Paul had the authority to abolish God's laws in the bible, when Jesus himself couldn't do it. Don't you realize that the reason Paul, who btw is neither a prophet nor God (I hope we're clear on that), had to make christianity so lawless is so that more people would join. I don't understand how anyone can really believe that they don't have to follow Jesus's teachings just cuz some random guy told them not to, so explain it to me won't yea ?

stop giving me all this crap about spirit and flesh. Give me a reason why YOU AS CHRISTIAN don't have to follow JESUS'S rules that you can find in the Bible.

Paul WAS some random guy. Well he wasn't authorized to make his own version of the bible anyway and if you say he did then you're a liar. And DON'T pretend that I'm asking anyone to be perfect, you know exactly what the question means.

HAHA more crap that excuses christians for not doing ANYTHING that the bible says you should. I love how you have no evidence to show for why you TOTALLY and COMPLETELY ignore almost EVERYTHING in the bible. Anyone that needs examples just e-mail me.

it's just a show piece for the most part. My question is on the larger scale, any normal person would understand that i don't mean THEM specifically.

I can't explain it to you, but am fully agree with you.
Perhaps it is much easier to believe on this SAVIOUR theory and then enjoy all the things you wnat. If one follows the teaching of Jesus, one will have to accept the restrictions also. But that means foregoing certain freedoms, like sex, nudity, drinking, gambling, robbing (in all forms, legal or illegal) etc. How many are willing to sacify these things?
So it is much easier to believe in this so called nSAVIOUR theory and do all the sins.

Seems like your issue is more with Paul than with Christians today. Paul was more than just a "random guy" and he did not abolish Gods laws in any way >>> hope we"re clear on that

I think it is your opinion that it is just a show piece. You don't know half the people on YA so, to prejudge who they are and how they live their lives, is not fair to Christians.
Edit: Perhaps if you don't mean all Christians, you should be more direct with your question. How you asked this question made it sound like all Christians do...Not all Christians are alike or the same. Your question to me, sounds a bit harsh and angry-very bitter. There's no reason for that!

While I do believe you should follow Jesus' teachings. Many Christians aren't perfect. I don't believe you should generalize all Christians into one category.
I'm trying my best to live completely for Jesus but sometimes I slip. That's what Jesus died for.
But I do agree with you that many (not all) Christians rely on salvation WAY too much.

Great question. Most that call themselves Christian have not truly been born again - the mark of a true Christian.
Jhn 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Jhn 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Jhn 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Jhn 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Jhn 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Perhaps you should research the Apostle Paul a little more. We are all sinners. Even Jesus said, 'There's not one righteous."
We're flesh and blood. The spirit is strong but the flesh is sinful. The flesh and spirit conflict. I do the best I can. What's your excuse?

You gave me this link to your question so I assume you really want to know the answer to your question.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT???????????????? First if you want to attack Christianity make sure you know what you know your facts. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that Paul abolished God's Law. Jesus didn't abolish the Law he conquered it when he died on the cross. Seriously where did you get this rubbish from?????

Paul was an apostle called by Jesus Christ. He abolished nothing that Jesus had taught.
Christians love Jesus and revere the word of God. Well, I do, and the Christians I know do. I often fail at doing what Jesus asks of me, for many reasons.
And I don't know one Christian who thinks they "don't have to" follow the teachings of Jesus. By the way, satan is the one who is confusing you about the calling on Paul.....and I rebuke that confusion in the name of Jesus Christ.

I know I sin...and I am not perfect...I follow Jesus' teachings as closely as I can...but I am not perfect, I cannot be everything and anything at once. I cannot be sinless like Jesus wants us to be!!!
It's like my dad saying "Brian, you need to excel in school" and then me getting a 2.53 over all in high school....
I love my dad(sometimes) but did I follow what he told me to do?
