You still have time, don't panic! The net is not the best place to look for an airline ticket, despite all the data available and sounding tempting advertisements and offers.
Of course I do understand you, a ticket for 214 Pounds is expensive. The destination Bulgaria - United Kingdom is very popular and there are really great offers ( promotions).
Please, go to the official site of Bulgarian carrier "Hemus Air" and see for the flight that will suits you.
As I checked the prices start from 125 Pounds, including all airport taxes.

I suggest you to go straight to the desk of the airline(s) you want to travel with, as they could have even better offers.

Hope that helps!
Wish you luck!

Get the phone number for the Student Travel Centre, from www.student-travel-centre.com and call them. They have loads of lines so you'll get through quick. Tell them what your maximum is and they will work hard to get you the cheapest possible fare. I have even known them to negotiate with an airline for me. About four years ago, my daughter was travelling with her Gran, to Africa. It was a last minute offer from her gran. When we checked the Internet, the cheapest fare, for a child, at the time was over £1200. Her Gran couldn't afford that so I went to STC. The first quote was over £1200. I told them that her Gran can't afford that. Four hours later and I had a quote for just over £600 but that was still too much. The following day, I had a call to say £350 with a National Airline. My daughter flew out 3 days later. Try them, you won't be disappointed in their service. I have booked flights to Bg through them, a few times and I know other Bgs that have also booked flights through them, to Sofia.

Forget the internet. Go to the aiport you intend to travel from, and go directly to the desk of the aline you want to travel with. They will organise the cheapest possible flight for you, which will be cheaper than anything you will get online.

Have you tried this website.
Flights and holidays prices have increased in price this year vecause so many paeople have decided to take last minute breaks because of all the rain. All the companies have taken advantage of this surge in demand and whacked their prices up.
Hope you manage to find something!
