Serious question. No offense intended. This is for real self searching.
Please don´t answer with verses, I won´t read them.
Be sincere, you´d only be fooling yourself if you´re not.

To have a question like this only means that you question the doctrine that he is teaching. What good is the teacher? And if you question his credibility then you dont have a testimony. To gain a testimony is a process. You must read scripture, ponder the words in your heart, and ask God if it is true. I've gained my testimony this way. We cannot rely solely on our Ministers/teachers to teach us things about Christ like a student in school cannot rely on his or her teacher to do all his homework. We must pray to God and ask him that he will help us find the fullness of truth first as we do careful study of our own. When he does, you will know! It's the most beautiful experience you will encounter...no doubt....no uncertainty....no fear....just pure faith and believing! And everything (ministers, doctrine, leaders, congregation and all) easily....easily falls into place.

I don't place my minister on a pedestal if that's what you mean. I trust him, because I've known him for a long time. Still, men are prone to failure. That's why a person's faith and trust should always be placed on God, and not man.

Give yourself the respect to question your religious doctrine and examine the roots of your own faith. If possible read the entire Bible honestly and with as little bias as possible and make your own decisions rather than trusting someone else to interpret it for you.

Already answered. When I think he has made a mistake, I check for myself. Most of the time he is right.

I do trust him to admit his mistakes, as he has done when I have pointed out things to him he had missed. He gives no indication of any type of deliberate deceit.

We can't. Ministers are only people. We must trust God alone. If my preacher quit tomorrow it would break my heart, but my trust is not in him.
I even take everything he says with bible scriptures to make sure he is not leading us astray.

It depend on how well they are educated. You probibly should pray about it. Also, you might want to do your own reserch about the verses that they present. Or get a second opinion with someone who's knowledgeable with what they're teaching...

I never always trust anyone, not even my mother. Everyone is human, and all humans have some level of imperfection and evil in them. To be completely trusting of anyone is quite foolish in my opinion.

I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean trust what he is saying? Our church is a bible teaching church. I have been attending it for ten years now. I don't just take what my pastor says for granted, I am in bible study also. It has been my experience, however, that my pastor is devoted to teaching God's word truly. About that, yes, I trust him.

If he/She is not in line with the Word of GOD!
In the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God.
· In one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
· In the virgin birth of Christ, His vicarious, atoning death, resurrection, and ascension.
· In salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ.
· In baptism by immersion.
· In divine healing through the redemptive work of Christ on the cross.
· In the baptism with the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
· In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit which enables believers to live a holy life.
· In the second coming of Jesus Christ.
