Jeff----the homeless are imaginary---they could not be products of evolution.
you are delusional if you believe in homeless people. Lol. Atheists only have time to insult, not actually get out and help. Unless there is a gay march somewhere.

Sicilian do you not recognize sarcasm.
The atheists do not believe in God because he is imaginary----
The atheists do not FEED THE HOMELESS BECAUSE ATHEISTS BELIEVE THE HOMELESS ARE IMAGINARY. GET IT?

All that Atheists do is to glorify themselves. Out of selfish motives. Not to give God glory.
They're works on wrong motives.

Re your comment about the homeless. You must be delusional to think that homeless people do not exist. There are homeless people all around us. They existed in the past -- Jesus talks about them in his Sermon on the Mount -- and they exist today. If you choose to ignore their existence, that is your problem.
A person inspires other people to do good mainly by his own good deeds. Jesus said "By their acts" you will know them." and Do not hide your candle under a bushel but let your light shine for all to see. When I see someone doing good for others, I do not ask whether that person is a believer or a non-believer. I am inspired by the act not by the person. Atheists may not believe in a personal God. But they are as capable perhaps even more capable of being loving, good, and performing good deeds as any Christian. I am not an atheist and I am not a Christian. Only a human being.
Addition: No my friend, I don't get it and I don't get you. but neither do I think that you "GET IT"
Additon 2: Where are you Theopneustos? Are you looking for the love that you don't have!!!

Inspirational means many things to many people! You can have an inspiration to write a book, or drive to the park, and read a book!
Charity begins at home, and I for one DON'T ADVERTISE when I make a donation to some worthy cause, do you? and if you feel it necessary to tell everyone that you give to charity, just exactly 'what' does that say about you!
I've read many answers on this category, and Atheists don't attack! they defend! I've read things on here that would shame any decent person, let alone a good Christian!
Just remember when you are trying to make brownie points with God? Well, He sees what you are doing!

Educate christians.
For John, if the atheists is lost and not even flashlight can guide their way home. It is perfectly ok. We still have GPS.
For Christians Fundamentalist, unfortunately, you are blinded from the heart and mind, and not even medical surgery can restore their sight.
---------
So you assume atheists thinks homeless people are imaginary because we think your god is imaginary.
Do you mean your god are homeless people?
For the matter of fact, there are homeless people. No atheists will think they are imaginary.

Sairyuu, atheism isn't a religion. To be a member of a religion usually implies the belief in a deity. Atheists don't believe in any deity, so how can they be a religion? Anyway, to answer the question, what have YOU done that is so inspirational? Since when is "inspiration" a by-product of religion? And what did an atheist ever do to you? You seem to really be looking for a fight with them tonight.

Their "love" is, and comes from the place the Christians that riducule and persecute others. Oh, and tell me the Christians don't compete for being the most self-rigtheous, pious and holier-than-thou.
I agree, where IS the love... if Jesus IS the love, did he take it all with him, 'cause a multitude of his alleged "followers" seem to have real difficult time "loving" those that don't share their beliefs. Not a slam, just an observation.
So, God is homeless?

Hmmm...another flaming question from a person that seems like they're trying to prove something to themselves. It's great that you're attacking Atheists because you hate them, that's true Christian love right there. And you wonder why people don't like you? It's not your beliefs, but your heartless attacks on something that you know nothing of.
Atheists have learned to love and be compassionate for themelves, not because they fear Hell. They have learned to think for themselves and find answers. They do not follow blindly and act as and call themselves sheep or a flock. They help the homeless and hungry for the good of others, not as a good deed to show they're worthy of Heaven. Simply, they are good for the sake of being good, not out of fear for themselves.
Pretty inspiring to me.

An atheist (Bill Gates) is responsible for the operating system you are more than likely asking this question on, first of all. (lol, thumbs down? It's true, moron) The same man has also donated more money to charity than anyone else, EVER.
Also, the atheist's philosophy is inspirational because they inspire people to live their life to the fullest. One who is expecting a second life/afterlife after this one cannot possibly appreciate THIS life here on Earth the way an atheist can.
Also, what good is inspiration/hope if it's false? Would you want your doctor to tell you you're healthy when you're actually dying of a curable disease?
As far as Christian charities, sure it's easy for you guys:
1. You don't have to pay taxes, so you have lots more disposable income.
2. It's also a fact that despite that, churches tend to give much LOWER percentages of their total income to charity than secular organizations. Bet you wish we didn't know that, huh?

I wasn't aware that there was a requirement to be "inspirational" in one's philosophical beliefs.
How about: developing modern psychoanalysis, fighting for liberty and social justice, creating wonderful works of art, literature, music and theatre, encouraging us to look to the wonders of the stars...all things which reflect that what we do is live our best lives now, rather than waiting for some fantasy reward when we die.

Well I'd say the large majority of anything related to Science came from an atheist, that being said, any appliance, tool, or form of entertainment.
