Nah I'd rather not give my life to an imaginary fellow...
Thanks for the offer though.

He did. And not many know WHY?
Adam, a perfect man, brought death on mankind because of disobedience
(Genesis 2:17) But as for the tree of the knowledge of good and bad you must not eat from it, for in the day you eat from it you will positively die.”
Prior to this, there was nothing in God's plan involving having to die. Man brought it on himself.
Jesus has given up his life, also as a perfect man, to ' buy back' for us the right to again live without having to die.
It matches this scripture;
(Revelation 21:4) And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Death is donme away with...paid for.

Jesus never died, he is still living in heavens but we can sacrifice our life when he will come on this earth as his soldiers according to islamic teachings.

He does not ask us to do that literally. We might have to when persecuted but He values the living sacrifice we give when we start to do good to others. We all will die, He will wake us up .

Yes, I would, but in reality, Jesus is not looking for someone to die for Him. He wants us to live for Him.
