The amnesty bill was defeated twice, ICE is continuing to make raids and deport, the fence is being built, and some towns are rounding up and deporting illegals.

Most Americans are really angry. Since illegals are so "in your face" about things, this anger will not diminish. It will increase.

The issue regarding cities making laws against the illegals won't go away until the Supreme Court clarifies things. I'm positive the Hazleton law will be decided by the "Supremes."

While the raid are currently more for show to appease angry Americans, they are doing it. Americans want the fence and they want laws enforced. This will not change.

Congress better start listening to the voters, if they want to keep their jobs! Look what happened to McCain. He was suppose to be a front runner, until the push for the amnesty bill. Now he's toast!

Amnesty is wrong. Illegals are criminals for breaking our laws. They shouldn't be here and they must leave.

Bleak but the Power Brokers still want the North American Union to pass. Illegal "Immigrants"-Aliens are an integral part of the Power Brokers plan to rid the US of its Middle Class.

Our congress is trying to push in smaller pieces all the issue that the amnesty bill failed on. Unless we back down on our pressure to congress to protect our borders and no free passes, things will still get worse.
One good example is that Hillary favors the Amnesty bill that failed. If she is the front runner and in the end wins, we will be getting the Amnesty bill passed sometime in 2009.

Tell you what, were one cross border shooting scrape away from our own little insurgency. Could you imagine what the american people would do if a bunch of mexicans shot their way into this country, killing civilians? The minute men will pull out those guns they have stashed away.

Not to mention the bias that is building against them- as the government toys with politics in the face of Americans!- I hope they are forced back to their country of origin- so "Mexico" will be forced into a corner to help its own people!

Actually things are looking up.There are a couple new bills in the Senate.I don't think one will pass but the other might. And both houses have vowed to end the immigration issue by the beginning of next year.Big business is lobbying full force along with others. So I think something will pass that we all can live with by the end of January.

They are more or less safe. Another path to citizenship will be passed before the end of the decade and that will be it for another 20 years when we have to hear about the evils of immigration again.

Well, Bush, our favorite failed president, will be out of office in a year, so that'll be a step in the right direction. Then it's up to the democrats.
