If they disappeared suddenly e.g. in the time it takes to snap your fingers (The twinkling of an eye) and there was no obvious reason eg. explosions or chemical warfare etc then I would think that the RAPTURE had finally come as prophesied. Of course, I will know if that's the reason because I will be one of those who disappeared. If I am still here then I will wonder what could have caused it because it WON'T be the Rapture. Interesting Question though.

Well, I'd be happier for a while - less people to bother me, more like minded people about.
Life would be hard at first, while we replaced people into jobs once filled by the missing, but i think we would go through another Reinassance, like happened after the Black Plague in europe - when 50-75% of the population in many places had died.
We'd have food in plenty, space in plenty, resources in plenty.
yeah, I'd be happy.

all our problems would go away....
huge problems like global warming, hunger, countries running deficits, shortage of fresh water, oil prices will come down, more jobs, etc etc. etc.
and i would hope billions vanished not just millions....if i am one of billions being vanished then sucks to be me but the rest of them living would have a comfortable life.....and this is no theory or an idea....its coming....probably some huge manufactured disease that will whip out hundreds of millions. its inevitable. we all can't survive on this small planet.

Your trying to suggest end of the world - Revelations
Remember, scripture says No man may know the time or place - so it always strikes me when preachers try to tell you the end is near.
Second, in most every other instance of scripture, sinners or non believers are flung away - not the believers - so maybe the saved at the end will be the ones remaining.
Just something to think about....

I'd think "Awsome! More room for me!"..."Time to go get that MacMansion I always wanted."....or could be a total "Oh cr@p!" moment where I realize I am a sinner and that I missed to boat on the rapture.....So guess its up in air on what I would think, till it actualy happens.

I would hope it was the hypocritical religious folks and the conservatives who are greedy and only think of themselves that disappeared. Oh yea I think the true Christians will still be here although there are very very few of them.
