This is an easy one. I have been to many, many places. From tropical paradise to mountain hideaways. The most stunning place that I can remember is Yosemite Valley. When you first come into the park you come through a tunnel. When you come out of the tunnel the entire valley opens in front of you. The view is tremendous with Half Dome and several water falls visible. The river goes by just below and it is absolutely Idyllic. Every shade of green can be seen to all rims of the park and huge rock faces soar majestically into the sky all around. Huge trees add wonderful scents to the air and you really feel that you have entered paradise. The wheather varies but usually it is sunny in the morning and then in the afternoon a cleansing rain sprikles the valley. You just can't believe where you are. The sights, the sounds of the wind in the trees and the waterfalls and rivers, the smells of the pine trees and flowers of the meadow. God, it's just the best place on earth. I know. I have been to almost all of the 1000.

So thats my opinion. As with all things that deal with perception, I am sure that other people will have their favorites. But this is definitely mine.

Many people actually cry when they first see this view. It is a very emotional setting. I have been around the world in search of beauty and unique settings. I have yet to find anything that compares to Yosemite

The Bahamas. Gorgeous. Try the parasail ride there. A view from 250 feet up can't be beat.
