3 is not too many. As a matter of fact 3 is the average number of children in households these days. I think 4 is ok too, its really up to you. If you want to talk about too many children you should see the Dugger family on discovery channel. They just had baby #17

Too many is different for everyone. We are about to have #4 and we are at our limit, 5 would be too many. For some friends of ours, 1 is just enough and 2 would be too many.
We made our decision based on finances, our energy level, and what kind of a life we wanted to provide for our children.

That is a very hard question to answer. It depends on the persons having the children. Can they support them financially? Do they have the patience for them?
Personally, as in for myself, I think that 3 is just enough and 4 might be stretching it, 5 is definitely out of the question.
There you go, hope that helped!

my great grandmother had 10, 5 were hers and 5 were her step-kids. Thats why i have a big family. If u can handle 3-4 children then its not too many.

I am a single parent with three kids and I would like to have one more if I ever get married again. I was an only child and LOVE having a big family. It is VERY stressful at times but well worth it!

No, I have 3 and it's a good number for us. I don't think 4 is too many either, it's a personal choice.

Three would be too many for me. I get so worn out taking care of my little niece and nephew that I almost think that maybe 2 is too many, but that is just for me. If someone has enough energy and money, they can have as many kids as they want.

I think it all depends on your financial situation. Also consider health problems that comes with giving birth too frequently. Personally I would like to have a big family since I grew up as an only child.

It depends on the people having them and their financial position. And also, are they mentally and physically capable of raising kids at all. Some people who are millionaires dont deserve 1 kid because of how stupid they act. Others who are have 6 kids and raise them all very well.
My sister and her husband have 6 kids and dont have a pot to piss in and also have very low parenting skills. 2 would have been more than enough for them. My grandparents had 7-8 kids and did a great job raising them, even though they were dirt poor.
It really depends on the family.
Myself i wouldnt want more than 2. After 2 its snip time for me.
