Slaves are to be under the control of their masters in all respects, giving them satisfaction, not talking back to them or stealing from them, but exhibiting completely good faith, so as to adorn the doctrine of God our savior in every way. (Titus 2:9-10 NAB)
Slaves, be subject to your masters with all reverence, not only to those who are good and equitable but also to those who are perverse. (1 Peter 2:18 NAB)
So let their children starve! Let the sword pour out their blood! Let their wives become widows without any children! Let their old men die in a plague, and let their young men be killed in battle! the old testement is part of christianity. It explains christianity's creationists story so what are you talking about? The concept of god is Judiasm and christian. because if you didn't beleive in god you are not christian. the oldtestement is christian also and then runaway from it so don't try to change it. It's your own religion, face the facts. the only way its not your religion is if you change your faith.

yahwew is the same as the christian god. In hebrew they just have a different form of the name since the language is different.

It's funny how christians try to validat ether religion as right because of the bible and his existince is true because of that. However as soon as someone use there own religion's doctrine to prove how corrupt, immoral and how narrowminded they are to think they are no other gods when it clearly awknowledges it in the bible text with the qoutes. They tell Me i don't understand. Even if it is in the own doctrine book of christianity. I mean it only talks about god approving of rape, murder and commiting murder, allowing, pedofilia, prostitution, commiting genocide, being racists, ethnocentrist, admiting to commit evil from time to time in the bible, eating babies, human sacrifice, killing children, getting people to commit crimes, such as leading a person to rape a women, or leading people to kill children.. Its all there in the bible. Just take out your bible and it tells you. They are disturbing stuff in not just the old testiment but in the new one also.

I showed you the texts. you yourself must look into the bible, it is your choice wether you want to witness it. It is there. You are given the sources of where to find them in the bible. And they are a couple translations but they are still many qoutes, texts of god commiting immoral acts and the bible still contridicting itself in all of them, as well as old testement and new.

So what was the question??

I don't agree with everything God did, and maybe I would have done things differently if I were God, but guess what....I'm not God and neither are you. I do know that I have seen way too much in my life to not believe in Him and His Son. I also know that many will take bits and pieces of the Bible to make up their own religion (like Atheism), but that only proves true more of the prophetic words about a rebellious and stiffnecked people that would rather believe fables than trust in their Creator.

The world we live in today and the world 2,000 years ago is very different. Slavery is not the same today as it was back then. So are many other traditions. I dont think it is fair for us to use our standard today to judge the standard of what was 2,000 years ago. Things do change. Jesus did bring change, a new covenant.

Quoting out of context does not prove anything. Plus thats part of the Old Testament. Why do Atheists believe that by attacking religion, they prove their own beliefs. Atheists believe that there is no God (good for them), religious people believe there is God (good for them). Neither gains any points by attacking the other one's beliefs.

I think this is Old Testament Judaism not Christianity and is Jewish law and God judging sin many times.

Anyone can rewrite words. You have no understanding of what you have copied. You have no understanding of the Old Testament ways and the New Testament ways. You have no understanding of what Jesus Christ is or what He did.

So please, for future reference, if you want to flame Christians, at least try to do it intelligently.

God Bless.

I'm not sure of the point of your question. I can't be Christian because it claims to have a personal caring god, and no one have ever had a personal experience.
