Mamnoon is an Arabic word 100%. It was mentioned in the Qur'an Four times. 1) Soorat Fusilat verse 8. 2) Soorat Al Qalam verse 3. 3) Soorat Al Inshiqaq verse 25 & 4) Soorat Al Teen verse 6. In the Qur'an it means when something is well deserved. For example in Soorat Fussilat:

[41:8] As for those who believe and lead a righteous life, they receive a well deserved recompense.

or in Soorat Al Teen:

[95:6] Except those who believe and lead a righteous life; they receive a reward that is well deserved.

BUT, this is in Qur'anic Arabic which is ancient. Now, mamnoon has another meaning which is "appreciate it". So when someone says that he or she is Mamnoon, it is as he/she is saying "I appreciate it". By the way, this word is also used in Persian language which has the same meaning.
