Is it so hard to understand?
Legal-don't break the laws
Illegal- BREAK the laws.
Yes? No?
Should we give "amnesty" to the drug dealer? Even if what he does is illegal?

MY family came here years ago LEGALLY!! They even did something absolutely amazing...they learned the language of this country and didn't disrespect it by insisting that others learned theirs. Nor did they wave their former country's flag and/or burn the US flag.

I completely agree. And yes, I have checked out Mexico's laws on immigration, people would have fits if we tried that here.

Yes but do you know the difference between a misdemeanor and a felony? A felony is illegal but a misdemeanor is less serious than a felony, a misdeed. Difference between a drug dealer and a person who entered the country with out documentation. What is so hard to understand, no documents or drug dealer!

the difference between legal and illegal is whom your lobbyist is. Since Congress is beholden to contributors who present issues vital to the health of american law, the interests that they represent are always legal. Illegal is the person who is absorbed by this economy used by the employers who are in every type of work, but because Congress has not comprehensively corrected an antiquated immigration law based on quotas instead of the nation's vital interests, the people subject to the bad immigration law become labeled illegals so that morons who otherwise believe in God and the philisophy of salvation through the love of Jesus Christ can label our brothers sisters neighbors and friends like they are criminals and deserve hell because they dont have a green card. And yes drug dealers should be prosecuted.

Should we give the drug dealer amnesty...No but they usually get it anyway.
Mexico's laws......I hear this often from people. We should implement Mexico's Laws on Immigration. But,in the same breath they say Mexico is a backward third world country. So shouldn't we hold ourselves above that backward third world country and show them how a great and forward thinking country operates?Maybe they would learn something then.Or do you want America to become a backward third world country?I really wish you would make my mind up for me Thanks.

Amnesty means a complete pass -- no punishment at all.
But many of the proposals are not actually amnesty. Being convicted of a misdemeanor and paying a fine is not amnesty. It's arguably an appropriate punishment for the simple minor crime of failing to full out proper paperwork upon entry.

They do not have a hard time comprehending the difference. Illegals just decide to ignore the difference.

My friend, I feel the need to fill you in on a few things... They most defiantly know the difference between the two. That fact, however, does not make them anymore intelligent. The simple fact is that they do not care if they are breaking laws. So, as my retarded, miss guided friend Sergio said that the end justify the means, than what I wonder would he say if someone just parked themselves down there on the boarder and started killing anyone who came here illegally....I would never want that to happen by the way....Sergio should rethink his argument...Remember this, you cannot expect logic from a group that believe in a fairytale....

i think those people are not saying illegal immigrants are law abiding. i think they are questioning the validity of the law. they think that the law is unjust and it should be changed. and you shouldn't punish people for an unjust law.
now you can disagree with that but the intention is to change the laws, not throw a bunch of people in jail.
