It depends on the country that is answering their questions. Foreign countries are not obligated to ansewr FBI questions. For countries that will do this, it takes about 2 months.

It depends on your name! Some people have been stuck in 'FBI name check hell' for 2 years +, some people have been through all the checks within weeks. Basically it all depends on how many 'hits' your name has. Its impossible to predict how long it could take.
