I asked this question earlier but I got the some old lame answers, which indicated they don't get it! Here's the explanation again, and I've added more in added details to clarify things!
The Bible says, "You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" [Psalm 139:16]
---God had already decided what you will do each and everyday of your life and He's already officially recorded it down!
This verse clearly indicates that God not only knew our future, but He also predestined it! Christians classical argument for a God that knows our future is, "God knows our future but He didn't make our choice". This statement cannot be true because it is cleary written, "(God)scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe". Now this clearly contradicts with the concept of free-will doesn't it?

Previously the Christians (ignorantly) said, “God knows our future, but He didn’t make our choices” Here’s the deal, God already RECORDED our life in our book! This means that the story of our life is already predestined! Now the Christians also forgot to consider that our entire bodies, including our BRAINS, were created by God! And what do we use in order to make decisions? Our brains of course! God also decided who our parents would be and what kind of environment we would be exposed to! Now, to blame our actions on God would sound immature doesn’t it? Of course! But if you believe in the bible, this is (whether you like it or not) the way it is. And that is why it doesn’t make sense! When God already wrote our entire life before we were even born, we don’t have free-will! No matter how you put it, it still contradicts itself! If God already knows who will go to heaven and who’s not, why doesn’t He just skip the whole process then? After all, according to some Christians

After all, according to some Christians, unborn babies go straight to heaven without having to live through any temptation, don’t they? And here comes the intriguing question, “If God merely knows our future but still leaves it upon us to make our decisions in our actual life, why do so many unborn babies not have to live through their life and make their decisions?” Your answer would be that God already knew their future anyway. Well, God already knows everyone’s life, but aren’t we supposed to make the decisions in actual life? From my experience I know I won’t get any logical answer from you Christians, because in order to be a Christian you can’t have a logical brain! Logic and Christianity contradict themselves! But anyhow, I decided to give you a chance! But whether or not you CHOOSE to be logical is up to you!

Same response I gave to a nearly exact same question somewhere else on this site:
There is a complete difference between knowing and affecting. God lives outside of time, and therefore is able to see and therefore know everything that has happened, is happening, and will happen. However, he doesn't cause evil things to happen.
Because of free will, God has allowed people to do things, good or evil. Evil people murder other people. God may know that those crimes will happen, but God neither condones those actions, nor does he cause them to occur.
Someone killing another human is not "part of God's plan," but God does use all things for his good.
If you believe in an all powerful God, you must believe that he has the ability to change events if he wills. Therefore, prayer has an effect. We can't mess with God's plan, but who are you to assume you know what that plan is? For all we know, God's plan involves prayer to prolong someone's life.
Also, Prayer doesn't "mess with God's plan." God's mind can be changed on subjects. Read Genesis chapter 18, how Abraham pleads with God to spare Sodom if there are righteous people in the town.

Who wrote the Psalm? This is David telling us about God's plan for him and his life. David even messed up at times and didn't go by God's plan for him? Or maybe he did, to show us that we can mess up but God still loves us and will accept us back. God does love us this much too. We are precious to Him as are all babies. He gives and takes away. Read Job
Therefore when we have accepted Jesus Christ as our personal Lord and Savior, God intervenes in our lives because we have invited Him in. We can ask anything of God and if it is for the best for us and all concerned, He will decide what is best and we trust Him to do this. Some times the answer is yes, sometimes no and sometimes wait. We always accept His answer because we know that He loves us and is taking care of us.
Those without God, are on their own to make their own decisions and choices and sometimes it includes murdering babies and it is against God's will. He does know our futures but that doesn't disallow for us to make wrong decisions. We are not created to be robots.
Your arrogance is caused by your rebellion and freewill. See? Not what God wants for you at all......

Disclaimer: This is just a theory of mine, there’s really not any solid evidence to back it up... just the thought processes that go on in my own little head. I could be completely wrong... in fact I’m not even sure I believe it 100%... but that’s ok. This is just what I’ve thought of.
Alright, this answer could get a bit complicated... but this is something I’ve thought about a lot. First, I have to start by saying that God is eternal and immortal. The state of being eternal places Him outside of time. By definition time is limited and measurable. God is not limited and not measurable by human standards. If you look up the definition of the word “time” on Mirriam-Webster’s website, all of the definitions refer to something that is limited (particularly def. #10: “finite as contrasted with infinite duration”). Because God is outside of time, that gives Him the ability to look at time (which we are confined to) at a different angle than we can. God could be looking at the beginning and the end all at the same time.
That being established, I will be so bold as to say that God does have our lives written out in His storybook and within that story, we have been able to make choices of our own will. God can see the beginning and end of your life simultaneously. He sees the choices you make before you make them because He views the time span of your existence from the outside. He doesn’t make the choices for you, but He does know what you’re going to do before you do it. He created time, I would think He knows it pretty well.
Like I said, just a theory... take it or leave it.

Once again I just answered this question, how about you get a real bible, that is not even what the bible says, it is talking about the members of a persons body being known when they are in the womb. It says nothing of the sort about scheduling days. You will never be able to put a learned man of God down with the infallible scriptures friend.

Ok, God knows everything ahead of time. He scheduled it because He knows it will take place. Would it be fair of Him to come to you now and say, "Well I know you are going to hate me for the rest of your life so off to Hell with you now."? I can guess you would say something like, "That's not right! What kind of God are you? Give me a chance." God then tells you, I made you and I know that you will never believe. You will argue again and say, "How do you know? Prove it!" It all comes down to you not believing. You have to find this out for yourself. You are making the decision whether you realize it or not and no matter what, you would blame God.
God Bless.

Psalms are SONGS...they are not laws, revelation or prophecy. This psalm was meant to be sung with harp.
Psalms (from the Greek: Psalmoi) (originally meaning "songs sung to a harp", from psallein "play on a stringed instrument", Ψαλμοί; Hebrew: Tehilim, ת×××××) is a book of the Hebrew Bible, Tanakh or Old Testament.
In the Hebrew Bible, the Psalms are counted among the "Writings" or Ketuvim (one of the three main sections into which the books are grouped).
The Book of Psalms, especially if printed separately and set for singing or chanting, is also called the Psalter.

You are trying to understand a God who lives outside of time. I have heard it explained something like this: God can see all of time, from beginning to end. He can see the day we are born, the day we die, and everything in between. He can also see all of the choices we could make, which could be billions of timelines! Sounds like a science fiction story. The thing is, you are trying to understand how an infinite God sees time. The language of the Psalms is generally poetic language. You should interpret it as such. Not every word in the Bible is absolute truth- some of it is just history, some of it is people's points of view, etc. The Psalmist is basically saying that God knows everything that is going to happen to me, because He could see my life from beginning to end. That does not mean He predestined it- it just means He can see the beginning of time to the end of time. Knowing it does not mean He caused it. It is impossible for our finite minds to comprehend how God can do this, but He is infinite- and therefore impossible for us to totally understand this concept.

I just checked a minute ago and you had something like 37 answers to the one you asked a few minutes ago. ALL of them were lame?
Or is it that you're expecting someone to say "OMG! You're right! I renounce my Christianity forever! Right now! Thank you so much for opening my eyes!"
That's not going to happen, so if I were you I'd just take the one closest to that and be happy.
Interesting question though, and I still haven't finished reading all the answers by the Christians yet.

This is amazing that people try so hard to prove God wrong. TRUE, he knew where we would end up when we die, he knew the life we would CHOOSE to llive, he knew the number of hairs on yours and my head. Only a loving Creator would give his creation the FREE WILL to live their lives how they wanted.
Yes He knows who will end up in heaven and hell, but that is only because He knows what so many will choose....a life away from His one and only Son.
It is YOUR ulitimate decision though, not His, what will you choose?
I really hope you read this
