hey I want to get a kitten but how do I convince my parents? I already have two dogs. But a kitten would be a nice addition.

You should start doing some nice things for your parents. Sooner or later they'll give in and they'll relized you've worked pretty hard for it.

All else fails there is the******** EEEEEKKKKK!!! We need to get a cat I just saw SOME MICE in the kitchen. Make it a good loud terrified scream. Ex wife pulled that one! And we did have mice. Ended up having to give it away because ex wife was allergic to it. Gave to one of her friends who had a couple cats. and liked cats.
Another way you go walking take a can of sardines or tuna fish you can open easily. The cat will follow you home so you can honetly claim he or she just followed me home honest. You don't have to tell the about the sardines or Tuna fish. Daughter pulled that one. That one died of old age. He was a good cat clumsy as hell never did land on his feet always on his head. but still a good ole tom cat. and a darn good ratter.

Best way is to put on the whole "I'm rescuing an animal who was abused/neglected" shpiel.
Sometimes those are the best pets to have.

bring the kitten home and show them how cute it is and say you found it in the middle of the road you about hit it? its feasible
