and there is a pressing need to make new citizens, why don’t we get the facts? I have a few questions?

What is the profit to corporations that employ illegals? What do they do with those profits?

What is the wage paid to illegal vs. legal workers?

What’s the difference to US Corporations between a legal and illegal worker? Price? Value?

If illegal immigration is good for the US who are the real benefactors? Seems to me those that benefit should be paying the cost not the rest of us?

Since the illegals are doing all the work, paying taxes and making Billions for their US employers shouldn’t the rest of us get a tax break? Really, what’s in it for the Joe and Jane American? I know….besides the usual screwed up schools, unaffordable health care and long lines at Taco Bell.

http://www.visalaw.com/01apr3/15apr301.html i just wonder if u even are looking for real answers , i hope u are . the taco bell comment was not nice by the way . we are full employment just so u know . health care right here , ummmmm , little is being spend on them : http://www.rand.org/news/press.06/11.14.html i wanted to add this because this is about the state of Texas estimated "cost" of the undocumented to the state and about an study in which " FAIR " claims the cost Texas 4.something billions i believe ( it was found untrue and bias by Texas ) :
there seems to be a problem trying to post this link , YA is not letting me to do so ... i will post it in comments if i am chosen , the report by texas states than the state of Texas is actually spending less than the total profit and then it reffers to their study as the first serius study about the PROFIT ( 17.7 billions ) the undocumented are to texas

Source(s):http://www.cpa.state.tx.us/specialrpt/undocumented/undocumented.pdf well i just wanted to add that my sources are more than just opinions . there is a lot of things which are going wrong but to blame a bunch of things in a single factor with out showing a single proof about it is just not enough for me ... i wonder if it is for u !!! is almost like a he said she said thing ...

Companies want Illegal Aliens for low wages so the companies can shift the Health Care Costs to US Legal Taxpayer Ala' Walmart. Paco gets a $4 per hr job. He works a little OT. His Mrs. stays at home with their 2 or 3 children and due to his low wages he and his family qualify for US Social Services. The Middle Class picks up the tab.
Congress, Wall street ....will never learn that an Industrialized Nation can NOT live entirely on burger flippers, illiterate "Migrants" and other Service Workers.
A country such as the US needs a strong manufacturing base, a healthy population, a healthy housing market and a "Healthy" LEGAL Immigration plan.
We cannot continue to outsource everything which can be made more cheaply elsewhere for the sake of saving some money while lining the pockets of the CEOs.
Look at the Dog Food recall and the Matell Toy Lead Recall and that is ONLY the beginning. China and those other Asian countries cut many corners in production cause the US can't be monitoring every production site.

If they were would you accept those facts, you ask a question
Spazz answers it ,you do not agree with her comment and you attack her fair and responsible comment. The American School system has been inefficient for a long time before immigration became a problem, 40 million Americans were not covered by health insurance before immigration became a problem. One of you neo cons suggested a boycott of all undocumented product made with Immigrant labor. I would like to see that done when America faces the harsh reality of what it has to boycott.
I..... all fresh fruits and vegetables
2.... all chicken sold in the supermarket
3.....all clothes made in America
4.....all new homes.
5......take your own garbage to the land fill.
6......stop eating in half the restaurants in the U. S,
7......Stop using all landscape and lawn care services.
The list goes on and on.
American have priced them selves out of the labor market, Yes it is true big business, will not cut their profit margin to help employ the American work force.
You need to wake up and smell the coffee? (from Latin America.)

The sawmill in town that closed down and reopened again
began bussing in migrants from far and away. They were
paid less and although I wanted to work there I could not.
These illegals worked hard and never missed a day. I wish
I could have worked there even for the lowered wages they
received with no benefits. After the mill closed down and
the workers got yanked their retirement contributions a new
owner hired me. Now the illegals around here grouse around
about how the place is rascist even though there is a
thorough blend of people. Legal, honorable people.
These people who claim that illegals only hold low paying
unemployable jobs are living in a vacuum. Just ask yourself
this, 'If an illegal filled a job that I wanted and there was little
else in the way of employment, would it be the illegal migrants
fault?'

No one ever said illegal immigration is good for the U.S. I think, though, that a legalization program for those already here and a reform in the broken immigration system are.

I am sick of people CLAIMING that illegals are beneficial to our economy. This is impossible!

Taxpayers shell out BILLION to take care of illegals and they pay NO INCOME TAX! The Heritage Foundation estimates that WE pay over $22,000 for EACH illegal family EACH year. Personally I think this has to be low since their estimates include the payment of income taxes. They pay sales tax and property tax (through their rent). Most illegals are paid under the table so they are not paying income taxes.

Illegals get many free services. Their anchor babies get welfare. They take jobs that Americans want. They bring in diseases that had been almost eliminated due to Americans being vaccinated (e.g., TB).

Besides all the financial aspects, they are BREAKING THE LAW! Why should be allow 20 to 30 MILLION people to blatantly break the law? It's not right.

People may give me a thumbs down for my statements but that doesn't make them untrue!

First of all I am hispanic american, I see this illegal alien thing as .... we are not looking at the big picture, we are settling for cheap apples or lettuce and not taking into consideration that our medical care costs have skyrocketed because illegals use our system, how blind. Yes we get a cheaper house built but do you realize in San Antonio 50% of drivers are uninsured illegals. If they get in an accident, what happens????? Who Pays???? Duh

Fine the american business owners who support this. The owners of the businesses are not being chartible (by hiring illegals) he is making plenty of money. Greed, Greed.

If all those illegals are given citizenship do you think they are going to settle for less than minimum wage they will unionize and we will still pay high prices. They will also use every program to sit on their behinds.
Plus our country cannot support every hispanic from every hispanic nation living here. Man, Lima Peru has 13 million, Mexico City close to 20 million. Wake up america, they are playing on your guilt

How would you feel to have your american child lose a scholarship to an illegal alien?? They are more deserving, right???????

I agree. If developers have to pay 'impact fees' to schools, why don't employers who hire or bring in immigrants? Yet they voted DOWN an amendment that would have made employers of agricultural workers under ag jobs provide even high deductible health insurance. It is all about making us pay the real cost of their 'cheap' labor while undercutting wages enabling us to pay those taxes to begin with.

I dont know what the big fuss is about, why send a poor family back to mexico if were still prosperous here.

mexico is baaad. really bad. we should have our arms open to those in need instead of kicking them in the back. Its our responsibility as a higher power. The number of rapists, serial killers and immoral criminals is the same percentage in illegals than other people.
