Ruth me! The word christian, kingdom hall and the word trinity can't be found in the bible. Since know one can determine the meaning of the tetragrammaton (YHWH). Jehovah or Yahweh can't be found used as God the fathers' personnel name because they are best guesses.
Jehovah's Wittiness do not accept as of the 1930's the concept of the Trinity. Every place where this is discussed like in the beginning when Trinity says let us make them in our own image is thrown out by their Sect. John is as plan as day when he wrote in the beginning was the Word and the word was with God and the word was God. Mind, body and Soul doesn't ring a bell with these, often kind and honest people.
Peace unto you!

you know, more and more Christians are begging to question some of the main doctrines that major groups claim define what a Christian is. One of these doctrines is the trinity. I myself began to question it 15 years ago, when it wa pointed out to me that the word trinity does not appear anywhere in the Bible.
Yep. Many Christians are getting more educated as regards their beliefs. They are increasingly ceasing to participate in holdays like Christmas and Easter, once they discover the pagan origins of such practices. I even have one friend who, like I did, realized Jesus is not God.
I think Paul said it best at 2 Corinthians 4:.6 For God is he who said: “Let the light shine out of darkness,” and he has shone on our hearts to illuminate [them] with the glorious knowledge of God by the face of Christ.

J.W's consider the trinity doctrine as false teaching. On the basis of the following;
suposedly the trinity claims that Jesus is God and the Holy Spirit, a third party, is also God. And all three are co equal.
None of this has support in the scriptures.
Why?
Jesus never mentioned the concept.
Jesus always put his Father in heaven above him, and that he could do nothing of his own volition.
Jesus prayed to his Father.
In the Bible, the Holy Spirit has no name.
In fact, it is not a person, but is God's POWER. something he grants and dispenses to us when we pray.
(John 5:19) Therefore, in answer, Jesus went on to say to them: “Most truly I say to YOU, The Son cannot do a single thing of his own initiative, but only what he beholds the Father doing. For whatever things that One does, these things the Son also does in like manner.
(John 7:28-29) Therefore Jesus cried out as he was teaching in the temple and said: “YOU both know me and know where I am from. Also, I have not come of my own initiative, but he that sent me is real, and YOU do not know him. 29Â I know him, because I am a representative from him, and that One sent me forth.”
Jesus was SENT by his Father.
(John 5:22) For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son,
Therefore Jesus cannot BE his own Father

Yes, there are many. Most of the progressive and new thought churches do not believe in the doctrine of the trinity the way fundamentalists do. They look at it from a spiritual standpoint believing they have a truer interpretation of the meaning.

Jehovah's witnesses for one.
Christian Gnostics.
Hmm, that's actually all I can think of for now.
The Catholics did a good job of stamping them out back in the day.
