It means you have a new voicemail according to this site...

*EDIT* I'm really not sure.. we check ours at my house by dialing our telephone number.. you may have not set it up yet and you may have to follow the prompts after you dial your number.. if that doesn't work, message me and I'll try to figure out somethin else.

Ummm...... is it a Uniden with a big white handset? If so, I have one, and the flashing red light means a call is coming in, and you can't turn it off.

If it's the fone I have, it sounds REALLY GOOD! :D (Some cordless fones are very hard to hear on.)

The red lite on mine is on the top of the handset.

~Cindy! :)

It could also mean you have voicemail, if it is CONSTANTLY flashing SLOWLY. To get that off, you simply call your voicemail and listen to the message! :D

when bringing your uniden phone to where it belongs in the garbage, on your way out to the store to get a new cordless phone, remember that those pretty looking vtech phones belong in the garbage with the uniden phone...

only get a panasonic phone...

2.4 ghz is good unless you have wifi
5.8 ghz is not as good as 2.4 but if you have wifi its good enough...

DECT is the best... operates @ 1.9ghz, so provides best range, security, and battery life...
