First of all, Jesus did not do "magic tricks". Wizards try to manipulate the power of God and the forces of nature in order to meet their own ends; Jesus is the Son of God, so he was able to use the power of God with no sin or manipulation involved. The things Jesus did were very real, but what magicians do are just tricks and have no meaning, nor are they helpful for anyone's faith.

Yes, ancient people knew that. Look at these pictures of ancient art depicting Jesus with a Magic wand. Very clear.

What Jesus, the Son of God, performed were miracles, not magic. No, Jesus is God who took on the form and nature of man and save us from sin through his teachings, death and Glorious Resurection.

And yes, miracles still happen today. For someone to be named a saint in the Roman Catholic Church, they must generally have two miracles after their death to their credit.

You better believe it. He was more so a great magician.

I'm referring to Jesus-the sun god magician, not Yeshua the Nazirene whom was an advance soul and shows our potential. The Jesus-sun god Magician is the joke of taking allegorical scriptures and applying them literally.

As a matter of fact there have been a GREAT number of guys named "Jesus" around there and many of them have been doing magic tricks.

I suppose you arent talking about that really famous guy named "Jesus Christ" or would you be stupid enough to mock someone whose name you dont even know???

You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes, nor figs from thistles, are they? Even so, every good tree bears fruit; but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:16-20)
Other areas of interest are: John 15:8, "By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples." Galatians 5:22-23 tells us that "the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control."
Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. (Matthew 7:15)

I've heard this theory quite a few times and for the majority of his so called miracles, they can be explained through illusions and science. There are of course the others things that he did that can't be explained so easily.
