Our truck just quit and if my hubby and father in law can't get it started again we will need a car quickly. We need something with a back seat seeing as i'm 8 months prego. I handle all the finances in the house and know we can handle payments of ~$150. Is it possible to get a good Jeep for this amount. This is the kind of car he wants and we have been thinking of getting one, but figured we would wait until he gets his yearly bonus from work or possibly taxes. Can't wait now. So What is a good price?? We live in Arizona.

I went to kbb.com for the kelley blue book value on a '95 jeep.. they only retail for approx $4000 .... try little "road side" dealers.. they usually allow onlot financing and cheaper prices.. make sure ur hubby goes with you though.. as a female myself, I'll be the first to tell you they really do think they can rip you off... Good luck and congrats with the baby..

Check out www.kbb.com Its the kelley blue book website. Financial institutions and dealerships use it to price their vehicles. You can get the values and costs of vehicles from dealers, trade ins, and private owners. You also get estimated values for tha mileage, running condition, and physical conditons, etc. It'll help you to know the info you need, especially if you're planning on walking ion to a dealership. They'll know that you've done your homework and are probably less likely to rip you off. Hope it helps, good luck on your vehicle hunting and soon to be here baby!!!

Try going to nada.com and find the car you want to buy and see what the retail cost is. Unfortunately, a budget of $150.00 per month won't get you much, but you need something. I would suggest going to your bank (for better loan rates and terms, go to a credit union) and ask how much you would be able to finance for a $150.00 per month. My guess is going to be between 3,000 - 5,000. It will really depend on your loan interest rate and how long you finance for.

In total i think about 10,000
My jeep which is an 04 cost about 17,000 but with financing will be around 21,000.
Just look around on websites for different prices and see what the average is; its a much better indicator

3.500 will buy you a good jeep in that age frame. Look around a bit before you actually purchase.Remember that 3.500 is the top price and you should not pay even 1 penny over that price. In perfect condition
