You are looking after the normal values of the white blood cells differential count Though the normal values differ in each laboratory setting, the white blood cells or leukocyte count is within the range of --> 4,000 to 10,000 cells per cubic millimeter.

To determine the amount of different type of cells in the white blood, the doctor multiplies the total count by the percentage of that particular cell.

The normal values of white blood cell types (called WBC differential count) are as follows:

>>Neutrophils---> 40% to 60%
>>Lymphocytes---> 20% to 40%
>>Monocytes---> 2% to 8%
>>Eosinophils---> 1% to 4%
>>Basophils---> 0.5% to 1%
>>Band---> 0% to 3%
