I wouldn't wait around twiddling your thumbs and looking at the sky bc there isn't a god.

The Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night. It's not our business to know when Jesus is coming back.
Jesus already did countless signs and miracles during his time on earth, and people still didn't believe. What would make people believe if something such as you described occurred if people didn't believe in 30 AD? God has already appeared (Jesus) to the leaders of the world (Ancient Romans) and warned them. Why are you still asking for miracles?

I think if God actually appeared at the UN, there wouldn't be any need for any further convincing such as severe earthquakes or fire in the sky at that point.

When GOD/Christ returns, that will be the end. There will be nothing done here on this earth after that return. GOD is giving us a chance to do the right thing by leaving HIS instruction manual HE will care for us at the end of time.
We are living in the last days or last dispensation. We will have absolutely no signs of the end of the age other than has been given, that people will be living like they have been for centuries. Jesus was disgusted with people wanting signs. YET, many today attempt to misuse the Bible to say it describes the end of time when it was speaking of the fall of Jerusalem that happened in approximately AD 70.

Jesus could come any day. You are right the world is in a mess and by all of my understanding, which is not much, I think most of the things that is suppose to happen have happen! So when is He coming. Maybe today, or maybe tomorrow. May be 1000 years from now! Nobody knows!
But we must prepare for it like it is today! Are you ready?

Ecclesiastes:
The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Ecclesiastes 1:10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
Ecclesiastes 1:11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
Now whats your point?????

You didn't hear what He did in 1916?

(even Wiki knows)
We must be patient a little while longer. After all, Lucifer is promised to have his time as well. (yr 666: the Middle East conflict begins) (yr 666 + 666: the Black Plague) (yr 666 +666 + 666: now) Things are going to get worse before they get better.
In the meantime, we can only pray.

No one knows the time or date of HIS return....but yes, the end times are near...the Bible says the world is just going to get worse, (not better) and look at the world now....full of everything God despises!!
