I will certainly agree that the numbness in your fingers could well be CT syndrome.

As far as the remaining symptoms, they tend to lean towars hypertension, CVA or a few other things.

Get it checked out, if you don't feel comfortable waiting, go to the ER, get it checked there, the MRI and CT if they do both, will rule out any type of CVA.

If your blodd pressure is high, meds can control it, if it is anxiety, again, meds can control the anxiety which in turn will control the blood pressure.

Please go see your PCP and get a referral to a nuerologist. Have dizzy spells or having vertigo? Those are two different things, but problems remembering words is not normal. I have that problem and I have a rare disorder. I am 39. My fingers go numb, so do my toes. You need another opionion from a doctor who isn't in the ER of a hospital. One that actually will take the time to listen to you. It could be a number of things, but at any time if anything gets worse go back to the ER. Don't sit at home and suffer. At our age forgetting words isn't normal. I also suffer with extreme head pain as well. So please call your primary first thing in the morning and make an appointment asap to talk with them about whats the next step to take.
