I have been happy with other girls and in love with one of them but every now and then it comes back to her. I recently found out she got married about a year ago and have been thinking about her nonstop. I feel like I get over her and move on but sooner or later I start thinking about her again and how perfect we were for each other. It seems like I have no problem "moving on" with another girl and being completely normal but deep down inside there is always that feeling. She is not my first love either (as far as I can tell) so it is not the whole "first love" issue.

Yes there is one person I still think about now and then. I think everyone has a very special person they will never forget. She may not have been your first love but she was your first "true" love.She will live in your heart forever.

I too have had this same experience. I was with my ex for 4 years before we called it quits. I was devastated!! I didn't date anyone else for almost a year. I compared every man I met with him. I then met the man that became my husband. I love him with all my heart. He is every thing a man should be and more. Sometimes I think about my ex and what could have been. I think alot of people reflect in this manner. If I could Turn back time I wouldn't change a thing. Sometimes it's best to leave the past in the past and do your best to find happiness in the future! Your not together for a reason, namely because you didn't see eye to eye.

Yes my ex-gf(of 5 years) I Can't get over her she was the Best thing that has EVER happened to me, I still have ALL the things that she Ever gave to me when we were 2gether and still have ALL the Perfect pictures that we have taken with each other when we were 2gether and all the Pictures shes ever given to me that were her from School when we were 2gether and also all the stuffed animals that she gave to me for times like Easter and/or Valentines Day and when I was in the Hospital and she went out and got me a stuffed animal thingy to help Cheer me up some alone with a card.

o god yes! i met him a year ago last month and he is the best thing that ever happened to me.. we have split up like 4 or 5 times and we still end up in each others arms we move on but when i get dumped or he does we always call one another to talk about it and then we end up back together.. he is my first love and im not about to give him up.... hope thats kinda what ya wanted

There is this one guy.I met him after my divorce. For the one & only time in my life, I just went for it. I wanted to be a little wild, have fun, forget about the hurt my ex caused me. We did so much together, traveled to fun places, & laughed so much. He got me to try new things, eating my steak rare, different ingredients in standard recipes, etc. Sexually, he was a blast, a short blast - but a blast. I did things with him I had never done before, & haven't done since. I miss that. But, he wasn't a guy you could have a long-term relationship with. I do still think about him.

yes the man i am married to 25 years dec. sometimes it works to your advantage but in this case doesn't seem so you just have to keep looking and get moving it will come about again.

Well at first it seems that way. And sometimes it took longer than others but eventually, especially if you meet someone good it usually passes but you always wonder about that person.

i know how you feel too. i still think of my ex-boyfriend every now and then, even my current boyfriend thinks of his ex-es too. i guessed that there will always be that special someone in our lives.
and like you've said, she's married already, so there's nothing much you can do, isn't it?

YES. He is not married yet. We're toooo young for that. but anywho, i hate when i find him talking to another girl, and just ignore me to make me jealous. Even though i know he likes me.
