"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee..Isaiah 26:3
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. Galations 6:7-8
We sow, what we think and we think what we sow.
Sow to the flesh and reap the reward of death
Sow to the spirit and reap the reward of life eternal.
Good question,Sandy

It means people who pursue things of the flesh, who seek merely sex, materialistic wealth, are vain and covet worldy things, that path leads to death....the mind that is set on things of the spirit, kindness, goodness, compassion, love is what Life is all about and what grants us inner Peace.
If you live the life, you know this to be true.

It's allegory, about Law vs Grace.
Law kills, as the ministration of death.
Grace gives life and peace.
KJV says:
For to be carnally minded [is] death;
but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

It is basically saying that the person who is only thinking of worldly things like money will die, but the person who is thinking of God first will have everlasting life and peace.

when the Bible refers to things of the "flesh" it is referring to desires of your sinful nature. it could be anything from over-eating to sexual impurity. but having your mind set on the spirit refers to your soul.
so in other words, if your mind is set on sinful things, it won't lead you to everlasting life. but if your mind is set on the Holy Spirit (and things that are honorable to God) then you will receive life

What it's basically stating is that what's good for the body is NOT good for the soul and vice versa. For example, fasting is good for the soul and not so good for the body. If you deny your bodily needs and put closeness with God first, then you will find him. But if you place your physical concerns before Him, then you will not find Him. Hope this helps!

Ahh, that's written by somebody trying to make you think there is a god and spirit.
Hopefully he failed.
