It is most likely just a cyst, but it's good that you were able to find it. The best thing for you to do now is tell your parents and have it checked out by a doctor to be safe. I'm relieved to know that some girls are taking such an active interest in their own health.

The most common symptom of breast cancer is a painless lump in the breast. However, early breast cancer is often found on a mammogram before a lump can be felt.
Other symptoms of breast cancer may not appear until the cancer is more advanced. These include:
* A thickening in the breast or armpit.
* A change in the size or shape of the breast.
* Changes in the skin of the breast, such as a dimple or skin that looks like orange peel.
* A change in the nipple, such as scaling of the skin, a nipple that turns in, or discharge or bleeding.
* A change in the color or feel of the skin around the nipple (areola).
Many people believe that only women have breast cancer. But, although much less common, about 1% of all breast cancer occurs in adult men. Most men who are diagnosed with breast cancer are older than 65, but the disease can appear in younger men. For this reason, any breast lump in an adult male is considered abnormal. 1, 2

the place precisely is the lump? reason in majority of circumstances it is around the section between the armpit and the breast. while i replaced into 13 i stumbled on a small bump under my left nipple, I freaked out sooo undesirable... i'm sixteen, it hasn't grown or something, became out to be a sort of fat-tissue lumps or something which would be bumped off yet makes no distinction. that's a risk, yet i does not panic too plenty. except you had an excellent maximum cancers-relatives-background that's low danger which you have progressed it so early. you're 14, your breasts are bobbing up and each now and then bumps like that ought to look and dissapear, it is quite uncommon even though it does take place. terrific of success, i'm beneficial and need which you would be nice <3

Lumps found in your breast could be either benign (non-cancerous ) or malignant (cancerous)..... The best way to find out is for you to go to the doctor to remove it from you and do a test to confirm whether it's cancerous or not.. If you have a family history of breast cancer, all the more you should see a doctor as the chances are higher... Early prevention is always the best....Talk to your mom about it and go to a doctor

First off, I am speaking from experience. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer when I was 19!
You need to let your parent know so they can take you to the dr to get it checked, just to be sure. It is VERY uncommon for younger girls to have breast cancer, but look at me, at 19, so it DOES happen.
Take some comfort in knowing MANY, MANY girls and women have dense breasts (meaning they are lumpy). These lumps are NON-CANCEROUS! It does make it harder to determine which lumps are cancerous. Because of this your dr may request for you to have a sonogram (kind of like what a pregnant women gets of her tummy, to see what is going on inside.) these DON'T hurt (they just have this paddle with gel and rub it over your breast!). If they absolutely can not determine what this lump is, your dr may request a biopsy. They will actually make a small insicion in your breast, insert a needle and take a sample of the lump to send away for testing. But this is really getting ahead of ourself. 99.9% I bet it is just a lump. But do get checked. And good for you for paying attention to your health!

its possible. get it checked.... if its not... then who cares? at least your not dying!
i have this lump on my lower lip. (actually two more have shown up in the past three weeks... totalling three...) and it's definately not a pimple or a zit or anything.... cuz you can't push most of the matter into one concentrated "zone".... its 100% skin.... as it feels. but it's definately a lump. so i think i have skin cancer... but who's to tell? thats why i have an appointment for monday next next week.
im not saying you have cancer
you probably don't... as 14 is considerably young for any cancer... i do know that most people under 40 do NOT show any signs of skin cancer.... and skin cancer is close to breast cancer... actually any cancer should be close to any cancer.... so their stats shouldn't be far off either....
so what i'm saying is.... the younger you are... exponentially the lower risk of any kind of cancer you have is....
but there's always records to be set.... so don't be one of those "records".... and get it checked out as soon as possible... who knows? maybe its just a cyst due to some adnormally low progesterone levels (happened to my girlfriend... by the way...) in which case..... low progesterone levels causes for an increase in breast cancer..... you'll just have to take some pills for two weeks straight for the two weeks before your period EVERY period...... for like a year or something.... but... taking one pill a night isn't a thing anyways.... so really... do not be afraid to get an appointment...
with my lip.... i forced my mom to get an appointment made... i don't live with her anymore...but i'm on her insurance... but the fact that my life is possibly in jeopardy... i used that to get the number one thing on my list taken care of... really... don't "f" with cancer....cuz cancer is curable in a function related to time... the longer you wait.... the less your chances of surviving are..... so don't play with your life. get it checked... even if the possibilities of cancer are low...
this is when "better safe than sorry" can really be applied....
good luck...

It could be Fibrocystic Breast Disease....
Symptoms
A dense, irregular and bumpy "cobblestone" consistency in the breast tissue.
Usually more marked in the outer upper quadrants.
Breast discomfort that is persistent, or that occurs off and on (intermittent) .
Breast(s) feel full.
Dull, heavy pain and tenderness.
Premenstrual tenderness and swelling.
Breast discomfort improves after each menstrual period.
Nipple sensation changes, itching.
Symptoms may range from mild to severe. Symptoms typically peak just before each menstrual period, and improve immediately after the menstrual period.
Its fairly common. I've dealt with it since I was about your age too. It isn't really a "disease" just a condition some of us get unlucky enough to have to deal with, actually it is a variation of "Normal".
Cutting back on caffeine and taking contraceptives help to eliminate the symptoms.

Very unlikely, hon. but always be safe. Tell your mom, and let a doc see it. As my dad always said, "Every lump is cancer until proven otherwise."
I've had tons of them, and they all have been benign (not cancer). But if one ever is, I wanna know really fast.

Call the doc right away because it could be cancer if not responded quickly.
