Just about every nation in the Middle East has received American arms at one time or another. The biggest buyer over time has been Israel, either directly or via Europe.

Iraq did get self-propelled artilly prior to the Baath take over in the 1960s. Most of the weapons that Saddam had came from Russia and China, with some French aircraft and South African artillery.

Iran was an American ally under the Shah, but that equipment is out of date by now. Iran now buys from Russia.

Egypt started to buy American weapons after they recognised Israel and stopped buying from the Soviets.

Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and the Gulf States are currently buying
American weapons systems, as well as European.

Syria has never bought weapons from the United States, using Soviet bloc arms almost entirely.
