Neither is better or more interesting straight off the top, it depends on what's better for you and what you find interesting.
Psychologists work primarily with or do research involved with individuals or small groups and their minds.
Sociologists work with or do research involved with large groups of people and their interrelations
Psychiatrists are a type of medical doctor with specialization in psychological and neurological issues.

They are both essentially the same professtion. Psychiatry is a medical doctor who specializes in psychology. He/She can prescribe medication and practice different types of therapy. However most specialize in a particular field. They have to go through medical school then specialize in psychology for a nuber of years. Psychologists are PhD.s They go though a doctoral program specializing in a particular field in psychology and then once receiving a licence can dispense therapy. Essentially the only difference is that one can give perscriptions and the other can not. But that is on its way to change. Sociology is the study of human behavior at a scientific level. They essentially look for patterns of behavior and take in many factors including upbringing, family and medical history, and they are more specific to a person's experiences in life their " socialization". Well I hope that helped. They are all interesting but it just depends on what you want to do with it is what you need to determine what field to study.

They are both interesting career choices. Psychiatry requires you to go to medical school because you are able to prescribe medicine when you are a psychiatrist. Psychologists do not need to go through medical school, but they do need to have at least a masters degree in order to work in most counseling practices. Sociology is the study of society and groups of people and how they interact with each other.

you have already received an answer which is a little technical so I'll add some of my observations from there. I like talking in therapy to my psychologist because he thinks of "normal" types of reactions to my problems. (Like everything which I feel ill from is in my head and NOT in my body.) My psychiatrist with whom I have been 15 years is my godsend. She knows me and can prescribe meds now without hardly any input from me. In fact I almost know and ask her in advance if what I think she wants to prescribe is the actual med. I've been right the past two times now. (I'm going through a tough time. Lots of stress which she can deal with more than he.) But also? My psychologist is a Presbyterian Minister and I am spiritual albeit not P. and I like that. Unfortunately? The Sociology is a new and upcoming field out of my knowledge base and I cannot help you there. Sorry!
