when a guy (my close friend) asks if i would like to have baby, then tells me he'd like to get married soon with the right woman...is he dropping a hint?
we've been away for months because i moved out. we talk by chat.

Just answer him if you would like a baby.
If you're not into him that way, then just assume he isn't thinking about marrying you until you get more hints.

Um yep he could be. But you said he is a close friend so he could just be pointing out what he is thinking and feeling. You need to dig a little deeper. Meaning if you like him and could see yourself with him flirt. If not just let him say it and move on to the next topic.

Depends on the guy and your friendship.
Either he's dropping hints and he knows he likes you.
Or your probably the friend he feels most confident in so he can tell you **** like that and he doesn't even know that he likes you but he probably still does.
