You have to go to the Children's Museum! It might not sound like a place for teens, but trust me, it is! My kids are 22, 21, 18, 12 and 7. (And after all the kids leave home, I'll still go by myself. It's cool!) It's one of the largest children's museums in the world.
Definitely make time for the zoo as well. The Eiteljorg museum is cool if you're into Native American art and heritage.

The Indianapolis Zoo is definitely one of the best in the midwest. There's also the Children's Museum, which is fun no matter what your age. Check out a ballgame at Victory Field - lawn seats are only $7. There's also a great downtown mall with a nice movie theater. Have fun!
