Unfortunately, there is a very good chance that she has atleast one more puppy inside her. It is very rare for a dog to only have one puppy. If there is a puppy inside her, she has to have it removed because it could be lodged in and could do her insides damaged. The puppy inside her is most likely a still borne (dead) and the moms body will use all her energy to try to attack the body. Even though it is a puppy, her body does not know because it is still inside her and just like when you eat something dangerous and get sick this is happening to your dog. Atleast give your vet a call.

If your dog has a still born stuck inside it is vital to get the animal to a vet. Most vets will work out a payment plan for an emergency like this. Your dog will become toxic within days if the fetus is not living. Please just show up at a vet in a panic and tell the receptionist what is wrong. They will help.

You have to take her to a vet! There is nothing else you can do! If you don't get that dead puppy and/or retained placentas out of her,she will become septic and die.A vet will either give her oxytocin to cause contractions,or do a Caesarian and spay her ( which is best.) Borrow the money,or sell something and get someone to give you a ride,or call a taxi.If she doesn't get that pup out,she is a dead dog.

my dog, although a much larger breed, had puppies a month ago. if there is still one in there (which a small dog like that would probably only have 1) she will continue to whelp (you'll notice her panting hard). also was the puppy stillborn or did she just not clean it soon enough. you can try to feel her stomach to see if there is one in there and i guess you could try to push it out (i really dont know if you can do that). i felt my dogs belly before she whelped her litter and you could feel the pups in there. but if you truly think there is another one in there then get her to a vet or you can lose your dog

You definitely have to take her to the vet - she will probably die if you don't. The vet will give her a shot to make her deliver the other puppy.
If there IS a puppy inside of her - which there very well could be - it will decay inside of her & kill her pretty quickly.
Best of LUCK!

You need to at least call a vet asap.
If she has a puppy inside, dead, she can die too.
Try a Petluv, they are very cheap. If you can't find one, keep calling vets to see if one will help you.
You can also try a search for a Peke rescue online - they can help you. If you have to give your dog up because you can't afford to vet her, do it - better than having her die.
Good luck, I hope you get some help for her, I really do.

Call the SPCA in your area and explain the problem and they should give you a number of someone who can help you.Your dog is the same as having a child. You are responsible for another life. If you do not have money to take care of this dog, you should not have it. I'll bet she doesn't have shots or proper health care either. You should think about giving her to someone who has enough money to take care of her the way she deserves.

I'm sorry but the only thing you can do is take her to the vet ASAP. It is very possible for her to have another pup in her and sometimes they need intervention like a c-section to remove the fetus. The vet is the only one who can help you. most vets will allow you to make payment arrangements so you don't have to pay all costs upfront. Please get your pup in, this can make her very very ill if left untreated. Good luck

If there is one or more pups still inside her and you do not find a way to take her to the vet, then you will lose your female and whatever pups she has inside her. The pup or pups will most likely already be dead.

if she has another dead pup still inside her, she will die soon without vet help....talk to your vet and see if they can treat her and bill you later, since this is a life threatening situation...most vets (at least mine) will understand that your dog's life is more important than money
